Senhor da Calçada Chapel

Trancoso

Trancoso

Small, rectangular late baroque chapel. The main façade has a door topped by shell-vault niche and a pediment that dates its construction (1770). Over this there is a curious belfry topped by a cross. This chapel was originally situated in the middle of the road going from Nossa Senhora da Fresta Church, which is why it is called Senhor da Calçada.
