Trancoso
It was planned in 1886 to be a municipal plant nursery and only became a botanical garden 10 years later, when it was planted with other species for the purpose. It still has its original characteristics in Romanesque or eclectic style and the peaceful park currently has more than 650 trees of more than 40 different species, many of them exotic and more than a hundred years old. It was classified as Woodland of Public Interest in 2004.
