Linhares da Beira

Linhares da Beira

This 18th century manor was probably first built in the 16th century. It is located at the top of the town and bears a stone with the family coats of arms. It has a wide façade with three different areas. It has two storeys and is rectangular in shape. Some well-known local figures are linked to this family, such as 18th century Luís de Pina Aragão, superintendent of the Guarda stud farms and João de Pina Aragão, a 19th century doctor.
